Afghan Govt Declares Half-Staff Status For Two Days

The Presidential Palace on Friday announced half-staff status for two days (Friday and Saturday) in order to mourn the victims of Tuesday's attack in Kabul.
According to a statement sent by the Presidential Palace, the half-staff status is applicable in the country and at Afghanistan's embassies around the world.
The president also directed all mosques to pray for the souls of Tuesday attack victims after Friday afternoon prayers.
On Tuesday, a truck bomb exploded near a secret services unit building responsible for the security of VIPs which left dozens of people dead and hundreds of others wounded.
The attack was widely condemned inside and outside the country. After the blast, Afghan government announced on Thursday that will change its strategy towards Taliban.
